Poster design to promote Huey Morgan’s 50 years of hip hop tour. Two different approaches, the first one references old school 70s and 80s hip hop posters, but brings the style up to date with a super bold colour palette paired with subtle gradients and patterns.
The second one takes a less flamboyant approach, drawing inspiration from gritty late 70s / early 80s New York at the birth of hip hop.
