Singer songwriter Phil King commissioned me to create the artwork for his latest album ‘Shelter’ which is a live recording of a collection of covers he performed during lockdown.  I wanted to reflect the warm aesthetic and pureness of the music in the artwork, which I achieved with subtle texture and a simple colour palette. The retro typography is a nod to the original artwork styles of some of the artists covered in the project.
