I was asked to design an identity for a new Caribbean restaurant opening on Stokes Croft in Bristol. With a kitchen producing traditional Caribbean food using recipes passed down from the chef’s mother-in-law, I focused on creating a sense of authenticity with strong lettering in a simple painterly style, white-washed textures and a vibrant palette. I used this visual identity for designs across the business including the shopfront, website, menus and hand-painted wall art.
Ben was absolutely fantastic in helping us with our new restaurant design. He completely got what we wanted to achieve and listened to the full scope whilst adding so many fantastic ideas. He took away the headache of designing a brand and gave our restaurant a complete identity. I cannot recommend Ben highly enough, he was always very prompt, professional and offered service above and beyond the scope.
